Mighty Oak is here to serve others who are in need of a place of refuge as they work towards achieving wellness. Providers at Mighty Oak use their professional knowledge, skills, and training along with their spiritual gifts to help others achieve wellness in the area of mental, emotional, and behavioral health.
Mental health refers to our ability to think clearly and make good decisions.
Emotional health refers to our ability to cope with and manage all the emotions that we experience (such as stress).
Behavioral health refers to the choices we make and how we respond to various scenarios.
Mighty Oak recognizes that spiritual health is an important component to our overall wellness. If desired, providers at Mighty Oak can incorporate Christian faith components into any service provided. Upon request, our providers are here to pray with you and support your exploration of Biblical wisdom as you begin your wellness journey. If you are in need of pastoral care, Mighty Oak can connect you with local churches who may be able to meet that need.
Spiritual health refers to our religious beliefs and our obedience to those beliefs.
Physical health greatly impacts an individual’s overall wellness. Providers at Mighty Oak are not medical providers. However, Mighty Oak can assist individuals in developing physical health goals in conjunction with their medical team. It is important that individuals seek out appropriate medical providers to ensure good physical health. Mighty Oak can assist individuals with referrals for physical healthcare if needed.
Physical health refers to the internal and external aspects of the human body, good physical health is when those aspects are functioning properly as they are designed to function.
A Christian Lens
Mighty Oak is a Christian mental health service provider. As a Christian mental health service provider, Mighty Oak provides evidence-based mental health services that operate within a Christian lens. At Mighty Oak we believe that the Gospel is transformative and that faith fuels hope. Mighty Oak providers seek to impact those served with the compassion and kindness of Jesus Christ in a life-changing way. It is our hope that through the services provided at Mighty Oak that the lives of others are transformed for the better and that individuals are able to find hope during times of struggle.
At Mighty Oak we recognize that not everyone’s journey includes our same faith. Mighty Oak’s mental health services are available to everyone and only incorporate Christian faith components as desired by those receiving care. However, faith and Biblical truth are integral to the foundation of Mighty Oak Christian Mental Health Service and guide our clinical approach.
